General Purpose Fixings

The most commonly used of all fixings, uses simple expansion to maintain a secure fixing. Wall plugs can be used in a wide variety of applications in sound brickwork, stone & concrete. It is essential that the correct drill and screw sizes are used in order to ensure a secure fixing. Greater loads are achieved by using longer and larger screws.

Instructions

1 Drill hole using a 6mm masonry drill.
2 Insert fixing flush with surface.
3 Secure fixture with No.6, 8,10 or 12 (3.5mm to 5.5mm) woodscrew. Screw must penetrate 25mm into fixing.
